我觉得 work for the disease 这个work for 词组用的有点别扭....我的觉你的意思应该是 this medicine did not work considering the effect of therapy.(我翻译的也不太好~)

4 D6 r5 T: E6 u5 fwork for  也让我感觉是“为谁工作”的意思   可是我也想不出来别的    直接来个the medicine doesn't work~~~~反正药都是治病的
