When learning English, a good memory will help you, but a good imagination may help you even more. For example, in English we don’t have many words for colors, but we have many ways to describe a color.
We say red like a cherry, or red like blood, or red like someone’s lips. But red is red. What comes to mind when you think of red? I think of different things like delicious red apples, expensive red sports cars, sparkling red rubies, or red roses. I also think of different images, ooh, a company that is not doing well, it’s in the red; or special ‘red-carpet’ treatment you might give a VIP. A person with a bad sunburn is as red as a lobster. A person who is angry is red in the face.

In my country，red have a special meaning.Generally red means happiness and luck.And we usurally use red shows our best wishes for a newly married couple.

RED. When the word "red" comes to my eyes, I first think about the red flag of our country and the Red Army. Then I think why the leaders choose the red as the coulour of the national flag, I guess it is because the color Red symblise the blood of the people who faught for our freedom and it is the most passionate color which can easily say their emotion \love for the nation. Most of the flowers are red in the nature world so, red also means the beautiful hope.
My favourite color is white cus it is pure and beautiful. It is white after a snowfall, and I love to paly in the snow , the color of snow make me feel happy and comfortable. White is also can be the color of a blank paper which leaves you a good imagination. It also remind me of the fairy tale The Snow White. She is beautiful and She is white as snow . White could be a color of justice and equalness.
This is my first time playing word association games. IT is interesting.
