The gap between the rich and the poor is becoming wider, the rich more richer, the poor even more poorer. What problems can the situation cause and give the solutions?
In the present age, the human race is progressing at an amazing rate on various areas. Yet at the same time, many problems have arisen, an attention-getting of which is the gap between the rich and the poor. The gap is becoming wider, the rich more richer, the poor even more poorer. This phenomenon has given rise to a great deal of concern. In this essay, I will analyse some possible problems and then suggest some solutions.
It is manifest that the bad results rendered by the gap are diverse. The first point to this that a host of people will be afflicted with chronic poverty. For instance, the poverty may deprive rural children of living right and educational opportunity. In the second place, the gap has rendered people alienated from one another. Specifically, a recent study conducted by the Chinese Academy of Social Science revealed that finance pressure often impels youngsters to commit a crime and resent society. Last but not least, the wider the gap is, the more destablising factors to arise. In other words, if our society neglects the gap between the rich and the poor, lach of safe and stable will ensue and clashes make a country unlivable.
Given the severity of this issue, we have no alternative but to take immediate steps to address this situation. In the first place, the government should plays a pivotal role in allocating money to the rural area. For instance, the Chinese central government dedicate tons of money to western poverty area and help the local government establish school. In the second place, poverty alleviation projects must be founded by the big companies. Indeed, the severe social problem requires for the joint effort of every people. Thirdly, the charity organizations should not only give priority to the optimization of its financial resources but also strive to encourage the rich people denote their money to the poverty area. It seems that the charity organizations help the laid-off workers get a job every year.
In sum, several factors contribute to the gap between the rich and poor. I am convinced that we should take effective steps including the government policy, povery alleviation projects and the help of charity organizations to alleviate the modern-day problem.
